Kate's passion is performing and choreographing. She has been dancing for 25 years, studying everything from ballroom to rhythm tap to ballet, and working with groups like Pones, Inc., de la Dance Company, Cincinnati Music Theatre, MadCap Puppets, and InBocca Performance around the Greater Cincinnati area. Her favorite roles to date include Odette (Swan Lake: A Waking Dream), Page (Amahl and the Night Visitors), Betsy (Crazy for You), Arabian Dancer (Nutcracker), Sasha the Duck (Peter and the Wolf), Sister Mary Leo (Nunsense), and the ensemble in Diane Germaine's Get it While You Can. Kate teaches dance classes for Persons with Parkinson's, coaches the Dance and Pom Teams at Notre Dame Academy, and is their resident choreographer.
You can currently see her on stage as Judy Turner in A Chorus Line at the Covedale Performing Arts Center, followed by an appearance at the same venue in this winter's Mary Poppins.
When she's not on stage or organizing things, Kate enjoys hikes with her boyfriend Dylan and their dog Tallulah, baking, good coffee, stouts, and traveling.
